Premier League, Championship, Champions League and the major European leagues, with corners, cards and player markets on top matches.
Over 60% of first-week stakes go on accumulators, and accumulators are where most first-week losses come from. Start with single markets; here is how they work.

Start with match result and total goals over/under, because both are settled on a single clear outcome and both count towards bonus wagering at normal odds. Both-teams-to-score is a reasonable third. Avoid accumulators in the first week: each added leg multiplies the odds but also multiplies the chance that one leg fails, and the slip's 'potential return' can hide how unlikely the combined outcome is. Academic work on bettor behaviour, including studies published in the Journal of Gambling Studies, consistently finds that accumulator-heavy accounts lose faster than singles-focused ones.
Live odds track the state of the match, so a goal, a red card or a VAR check moves them within seconds; this is the definition of in-play pricing, not a fault. When you confirm a live bet the site holds it for a few seconds and, if the price moved, asks you to accept the new one. Enabling 'accept odds changes' in settings lets small movements through automatically. During major events the market locks briefly; wait rather than refreshing.
Decimal 2.50, fractional 6/4 and American +150 are the same price: a £10 stake returns £25 including the stake. Decimal is the simplest for multiplying accumulator legs; fractional is familiar to UK readers; American is useful only if you follow US sportsbooks. Switch formats in the account settings; the slip recalculates instantly.
The price moved between adding the selection and confirming. The slip shows the new price and asks again. Turn on 'accept odds changes' to pass small moves automatically.
When most legs have won and the remaining one is risky. Cashing out every bet reduces long-run returns; decide the rule before the match, not during it.
Depends on the campaign; most count live bets that meet the minimum odds, some exclude them. The campaign page states which.
The selection is usually voided at odds 1.00: a single is refunded, an accumulator is recalculated without that leg.
Selected events carry a stream icon for logged-in accounts with a balance. The stream runs a few seconds behind the odds.
Total goals over/under. You judge tempo rather than winner, and the market stays open for most of the match.
